Our current land use plan is partially based on the 1985 Town of Vermont Assessment Roll.

In the mid-1970's a group of Town residents put a substantial effort into producing a History of the Town of Vermont in conjunction with the US bicentennial. This document has been saved in digital format courtesy of John Bird and is available online Here. It is also available on a CD for $10 from John Bird at johnfbird@tds.net.

A goal is to allow for updating of that history over time (while preserving the original as a separate document).
